Description
Shorea robusta is a dicotyledonous multivariate tree. Its wood is used in building works. Its wood is very hard, heavy, strong and brown in color.Sal or Sakhu (Sal) is an old-fashioned and semi-deciduous tree that grows from the foothills of the Himalayas to 3,000 to 4,000 feet in height and in the forests of Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam. The main feature of this tree is to adapt itself to different natural habitats, such as from 8 cm to 508 cm annual rainfall, it grows easily in very hot and cold places.
